Currents of Return reflects on movement and return, tracing musical journeys from source to re-encounter. Drawing on ragas in minor keys, the journey of folk forms to celluloid, with a blend of percussion elements, the performance considers how music travels across regions and contexts, and how it is reshaped through memory and movement. The idea of homecoming is approached not as a fixed place, but as something revisited through sound, where familiar forms appear in new relationships. 

Percussion plays a central role, opening space for improvisation, dialogue, and rhythmic exchange across traditions. Alongside this, melodic and vocal passages move between intimacy and expansiveness, allowing shifts in mood and texture to emerge gradually.
