Many Waters Have Flown – Conceived, Curated and Conceptualised by Bickram Ghosh
TUESDAY, 05 MAY 2026
18:55 - 19:35
Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello, Palazzo Pisani

About this event
Many Waters Have Flown blends classical instruments like tabla, mridangam, violin, flute, sarod, veena, sarangi, keyboard, and vocal music with the earthy, spiritual sounds from across India. Through rhythmic exchanges, melodic dialogues, and vocal expressions, the performance depicts how India’s varied musical streams connect, interact, and create one shared musical experience.
Moods shift, voices intertwine, and textures rise and recede, suggesting the passage of centuries not as interruption, but as continuous flow.
The performance unfolds as a series of quiet impressions—whispers of a grand India, vast and layered, yet intimately felt.
